21st Century Academic Quality
The School of Engineering at Universidad Europea de Madrid is a pioneer in the adaptation of engineering degree programs to the new European Higher Education Area. Our teaching methodology in engineering is based on active learning methods, supported by the technological tools required to ensure an optimum performance from our students both in campus-based classes, and on an individual basis.
Our Bachelor’s Degree program gives special importance to the relationship between the professor and the student. As a result, 50% of the time dedicated to each course will be spent in the classroom under the supervision of a professor, while the remaining 50% will consist of individual self-study with on-going support from professors who provide both individual face-to-face tutoring sessions, and online tools via the Online Campus.
Assessment is always performed on an ongoing basis: generally half the course load is assessed through examinations - at least two throughout the semester - while the other half by ongoing assessment of the various activities that arise from the applied active methodologies.
