In recent years, the field of education has undergone an intense transformation as a result of an increasingly globalized and multicultural society. In this new context, the Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education at Universidad Europea de Madrid aims to train the childhood education teachers that this new environment demands.
Today’s childhood education field is looking for bilingual professionals that are prepared to work in international and multicultural environments. The Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education seeks to train and equip bilingual teachers with the knowledge and skills most sought-after within the field of education.
The Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education is a progressive, bilingual degree program. Students begin studying the majority of their courses in Spanish, and incorporate subsequent courses taught in English progressively over their years of study, thereby training them to become a bilingual teacher. Through courses such as Bilingual Teaching, the future teacher will learn the techniques and tools to be able to teach in English.
In addition to offering an international faculty, the student will carry out periods of study abroad, which enhance and strengthen their ability to teach children between 0 and 6 years of age, in both Spanish and English.
This degree program brings together the best attributes of the former 3 Year Bachelor’s Degree in Teacher Training, improving upon them thanks to the introduction of skills-based learning and training in new technologies.
With internships starting in first year, the Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education will provide you will the skills and tools required to working with infants. These internships, monitored by an Advisor, could take place abroad, which will without a doubt, enhance the international perspective of our students.
This Bachelor’s Degree offers three specialization branches: physical education, new information technologies, and communication and foreign languages, thus providing added value to the training received.

You may be accepted to this Bachelor’s Degree if you have a High School Diploma, if you have passed the University Entrance Exams, or have completed an Advanced Career and Technical Education program, in which case you may receive credit recognition depending on your level of knowledge.
It is also possible to access this Bachelor’s Degree if you have another university degree or have passed the Admissions Tests for Students over 25. In the event that you are more than 40 years old, all you have to do is accredit professional experience.
