In 2008, Universidad Europea de Madrid obtained approval to implement its new curriculum for a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
This degree is fully adapted to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area. Universidad Europea de Madrid began teaching this degree program during the 2008-2009 academic year.
For the upcoming academic year, UEM will, in addition, offer an Adaptation Year so that graduates in 3-year Bachelor’s Degrees and Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Engineering and Bachelor’s Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering specializing in Telematics who received degrees under previous curriculums are able to obtain the new Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
The adaptation year for a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering is geared towards
- Graduates in a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Engineering Technology
- Graduates in Bachelor’s Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering specializing in Telematics
with at least 9 months of work experience by July 2011, allowing them to obtain the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering under a 100% online or semi campus-based format, following a schedule compatible with their working hours.
