The business of sports, leisure and fitness requires new professionals with specialized expertise. This calls for a new type of university degree already widely recognized in both the United States and Europe, but until now unheard of in Spain. Universidad Europea de Madrid, the most international university in Spain, together with Real Madrid, the world’s most famous soccer team, have joined forces to address this need through the creation of the new Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Real Madrid.

This degree program is designed to equip you with all the skills and abilities required of a good sports manager, which until now could only be acquired through a Master’s Degree.

The program is structured based on the following:

A combination of courses that properly detail the reality of managing, the peculiarities of sports, physical education, and leisure
A faculty made up of professionals and researchers of international prestige
State-of-the-art facilities, as those found at Universidad Europea de Madrid
A strong international perspective, which includes the use of English in many courses and the opportunity to study abroad at universities in English-speaking countries.

The four strategic objectives on which the degree program is built are divided into three unique disciplinary areas: Social and Legal Sciences, Business Management, and Sports. There is also a fourth objective, which integrates all the knowledge areas called International Sports Management, in addition to two internships and a Graduation Project.

You may be eligible for acceptance into this Bachelor’s Degree if you have passed the University Entrance Exams, are transferring from another university degree program, or by taking any of the Admissions Exams for students over 25 or 40 by accrediting professional or work experience. In addition, if you have completed Advanced Career and Technical Education, the courses passed may be recognized on the basis of your knowledge.

Without having to pay any additional tuition fees, you can spend one semester of your degree program studying at prestigious universities such as Arizona State University, University of Liverpool, Staffordshire University, University of California at Irvine, BiTS in Germany, and the European University Cyprus.

You may also do internships through the EHFA (European Health & Fitness Association) anywhere in Europe.
