In 2009, Universidad Europea de Madrid obtained approval to implement the new Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering curriculum.
This degree is fully adapted to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area.
Universidad Europea de Madrid began teaching this degree program during the 2009-2010 academic year.
For the coming academic year, UEM will, in addition, offer this adaptation course so that telecommunications systems engineering technicians who received their degrees under previous curriculums may obtain the new Bologna compliant Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering.
This preparation course for telecommunications engineering technicians with at least 3 months experience by July 2011 allows access to study for the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering under a schedule compatible with working hours.
Telecommunications Systems Engineering Technicians typically need between 36 and 60 ECTS credits to obtain the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering.
UEM’s Personal University is a new educational concept by Universidad Europea de Madrid based on 3 fundamental values: flexibility to choose, a personalized program, and interaction between students and the academic and professional community by means of innovative technological tools.
It is especially designed for professionals who need to balance their working hours and studies. It also gives them the freedom to choose the option of taking courses online or campus-based as well as the possibility of setting their own study hours, program length and enrollment dates.
Students in a program adapted to the methodology of UEM’s Personal University will have at their disposal the Virtual Campus as well as the most advanced technological tools: virtual classrooms, master classes, online library services, and so on. They will also study using multimedia materials such as simulators, videos and 3D presentations, some of which will be accessible via mobile devices.
