The accredited Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering has a cross-disciplinary curriculum in line with current market demands and focused from day one on successful job placement.
This preparation course for the upper division of the Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering for public works engineering technicians (specialization in Civil Works) is designed to round out the education of student engineers by providing the specialized training necessary for the adaptation and validation of the Bachelor's Degree.
This comprehensive training incorporates the latest procedures and technologies for the environmental adaptation of civil works, from strategic environmental assessment applicable to project design to environmental management systems in work procedures. This ensures students will become highly versatile engineers able to design and manage construction and civil works projects and work as urban development assessors, among many other facets.

The validation (1) of courses will be considered on a personal, case-by-case basis according to the candidate's résumé.
Depending on previous studies, some courses listed in the table above may also be validated (1).
Pursuant to Official Decree 861/2010, published in the Spanish Government Official Bulletin on July 3, 2010, a maximum of 36 ECTS Credits may be recognized based on proven professional experience.
EXAMPLE OF VALIDATION (1)
As an example, Civil Engineering Technicians with a specialization in Civil Works with three months of professional experience who have studied at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (dating back to December 12, 1976), would have to take:
6 campus-based courses (36 ECTS Credits), and fulfill the Graduation Project requirement (2)
The University reserves the right to offer these or other courses according to demand.
