Preparation course for upper division Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering

In 2009, Universidad Europea de Madrid received approval to offer the new curriculum for the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering. The degree is in full compliance with the requirements of the European Higher Education Area.
The adaptation course to the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering will provide you with all the skills legally required to practice the profession of Industrial Technology Engineer in Electronics, and thus bring you to the same level as future graduates in Spain and the rest of Europe. It will also give you access to a Master’s Degree, which will qualify you for the profession of Industrial Engineer and give you access to the highest ranking positions within civil service.
This course is aimed at Industrial Electronic Technology Engineers with more than 3 months of professional experience.
It will consist of between 30 and 48 ECTS credits, depending on professional experience, and any credits earned in previous degrees will be added.
Recognition of credits earned in previous courses will be studied on a case-by-case basis depending on the candidate's CV.
According to Official Decree 861/2010, published in the BOE (Spanish Official Bulletin) on July 3 2010, up to 36 ECTS credits may be recognized by demonstrating professional experience in the courses to be taken.
In addition, other courses taken within a degree program in Industrial Technology Engineering may be validated (1) if the degree is more than 225 credits (pre-Bologna), and provided that the courses are analogous to those in the corresponding Degree Program at Universidad Europea de Madrid.
(1) Recognition = recognition under the new European Higher Education Area.
(2) English: This subject is mandatory and may be recognized if it has been fulfilled in the previous degree program. If this subject cannot be recognized, the student must course a minimum of two levels during the program.
ECTS = European Credit Transfer System, the system of credits that forms part of the new European Higher Education Area.
Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering Technology, with professional experience of 3 or more quarters and a previous degree of 225 credits (180 ECTS):
(1) Recognition = recognition under the new European Higher Education Area.
(2) English: This subject is mandatory and may be recognized if it has been fulfilled in the previous degree program. If this subject cannot be recognized, the student must course a minimum of two levels during the program.
(3) According to Official Decree 861/2010, published in the BOE (Spanish Official Bulletin) of July 3 2010, the Graduation Project may not be recognized (*)
