To become a student at the UEM, you need to submit or send by post or e-mail:

  • The admissions application form, completed and signed
  • Photocopy of your National Identification Document or passport
  • Two passport-sized photographs
  • Your CV
  • A certified copy of your degree certificate or your academic certificates
  • If you studied abroad, the legal certificate of your documents

In addition to these documents, the admissions process will vary if you are in any of the following situations:

I have studied an Official Masters course and I wish to do a Doctorate

You need:

  • A certified copy of the Masters certificate or the academic certificate for the credits studied
  • A detailed copy of the program carried out

I have studied a Post-graduate Course and I wish to do an Official Masters Course

You need:

I have studied a Doctorate and I wish to do an Official Masters Course

You need:

I hold an Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA) or Certificate in Research Methodology (Suficiencia Investigadora) and I wish to conduct the doctoral thesis in the UEM

You need:

  • A certified copy of the academic certificate for the credits studied
  • A certified copy of the Diploma of Advanced Studies (Diploma de Estudios Avanzados, DEA) or of the Certificate in Research Methodology (Suficiencia Investigadora)
  • The UEM credits recognition application form, filled in and signed

I am a foreigner

You need:

  • A certified copy of your university degree certificate.
  • The academic certificate for your studies

This step in the process depends on which agreement the country where you studied has subscribed.

Revise the existing agreements and the countries which have signed them.

I have started a doctorate and I am changing university

You need:

  • To submit the letter of admission from the UEM at your University of origin
  • To request the transfer of your academic record
  • To submit in the UEM the receipt of payment of the academic record transfer fees

Once you have successfully come through the admissions process and have received your notification, you have 15 natural days to:

  • Reserve your place
  • Send a copy of the bank document evidencing the payment of the reservation

Once you have matriculated, you will receive the receipt of the payment made and a welcome letter with information about your post-graduate certificate.
