Valencia
Valencia is one of the world’s most avant-garde cities and one that has undergone incredible development in recent years. It would be very difficult to find another city anywhere else in the world with a similar story to Valencia’s.
Valencia is a city of such beauty, history, tradition and economic fabric that it has become the chosen destination for millions of people every year, both for pleasure and business.
The cuisine, festivals, cultural offer, architecture and leisure possibilities found in Valencia include countless examples of worldwide acclaim, such as Las Fallas, La Tomatina and the forever imitated paella. The now world-famous and exceptionally spectacular City of Arts and Sciences is home to a large number of exhibitions and areas of artistic and scientific interest that bring together both leisure and culture. What’s more, it is the largest center of its kind anywhere in Europe.
Furthermore, Valencia hosts such sporting events of international prestige as the Formula 1 European Grand Prix, the America’s Cup sailing event and the recently-held Tennis Open.
The city’s privileged location on the Mediterranean Sea offers fantastic beaches that can be enjoyed at any time of the year thanks to the warm and pleasant climate that is typical of Valencia.
