Pre-registration is done online through the (Online Application) available to all universities under the Erasmus agreement. This pre-registration does not guarantee enrollment in a subject until the student has arrived to our campus.

On arrival at UEM

Before classes begin, students must go to the international enrollment office with the following documentation:

  • Acceptance letter from UEM, previously sent to your home university.
  • Learning Agreement duly completed by your coordinator.
  • Two passport-sized photographs.
  • Photocopy of your passport.
  • Photocopy of your student visa (for those who are not citizens of the European Union)
  • Photocopy of your European Health Insurance Card or, alternately, an international health insurance policy.

Students will receive:

  • A university student ID that will serve as a security pass and provide access to a number of campus services.
  • Your class schedule.
  • A user name and password for the online campus.

After your schedule has been confirmed, you must have the definitive Learning Agreement signed by the international office of your department or school, as well as the UEM Erasmus office. You must then send the original document to your home university.

Before leaving UEM

  • Students must have their Erasmus Certificate of Participation signed by the UEM Erasmus office.
  • All materials lent by UEM, including books checked out from the library, must be returned before the end of the semester.

Information of interest

Students at the Universidad Europea de Madrid may use the University Sports Complex by paying a monthly fee, as well as have access to other services and facilities (bank, copy center, cafés, restaurants, pool, parking, etc.) on the Villaviciosa de Odón campus.

Class attendance is mandatory and a written excuse is required for all absences.

Registration cannot be modified more than once after a student’s arrival, and can never be modified more than one month after the first registration.

The Universidad Europea de Madrid is a private institution which guarantees a personalized learning experience for each student. To achieve this, class groups are small and places are limited. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a place to every student who requests a particular class.

International students may contact the International Relations Department about any administrative matter related to their stay at UEM at the following address:
