The Alcobendas City Council and Universidad Europea de Madrid officially announce three scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year for graduate students who will be studying at La Moraleja Campus.

The scholarships will be awarded to the students with the top three academic records (Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent) who satisfy the following requirements:

• 1. Have been registered as a resident of Alcobendas since 2005
• 2. Do not have an income exceeding €60,000 per year (the candidate themselves or their financial guardian) as shown on their last personal income tax return

The process of admissions and awarding of scholarships will be handled by Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Application deadline: Application forms and supporting documentation must be submitted at the headquarters of Universidad Europea de Madrid’s La Moraleja Campus (Avenida de Bruselas, 14) (directions) by 2:00 p.m., September 30, 2011.

Decisions: Decisions on scholarships will be made within ten days following the application deadline.

These scholarships are the result of an agreement between the City of Alcobendas and Universidad Europea de Madrid, which allows Alcobendas residents to use some of the university’s facilities for study purposes and benefit from the University's consulting and outreach activities, in addition to other benefits.

These scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in Universidad Europea de Madrid graduate programs costing no more than €22,000.
