Universidad Europea de Madrid believes it is essential to go beyond merely transmitting knowledge to our students and offer them a holistic education.  The personal advisor is a fundamental part of our educational model, as a figure who is available to give students advice, guidance, and support in their adaptation to university life.

The professor-advisor, trained in advising competences, guides and advises students throughout their entire learning process. This means:  

• Receiving new students and arranging an initial meeting aimed at obtaining information and assessing competences. 
• Finding out what motivates each student and their level of self-confidence (strengths and areas for improvement).
• Guiding and advising students in defining their short, mid, and long-term goals regarding their education, through planning and curricular orientation, encouraging commitment and responsibility on the part of students.
• Guiding students throughout their learning process, towards skills-based competences and self-study.
• Helping students achieve high performance results and obtain responsible leadership skills.
• Facilitating interaction among students through the development of communication skills.
• Guiding students towards a career and encouraging entrepreneurial spirit.
