Entry of summaries
Authors should send their SUMMARIES via the summary entry system before April 20, 2011 deadline.
The summary shall be structured in the following way: Proposal Objectives/justification (100 words max) description of experience (200 words max) and Main results (100 words max)
The guidelines offered by the summary entry system should be followed. We recommend previously reading what is expected of a JIU paper and reviewing the suitability of the paper according to the rubric provided.
The scientific committee will notify authors of acceptance or denial of their proposal, as well as the format recommended (talk or scientific poster) by May 14, 2011.
For accepted papers to be published, at least one of the authors must be registered before June 13, 2011, and the definitive paper sent in before June 13, 2011, following the instructions provided, using the template designed for each purpose. Each registration can be associated with a maximum of two accepted papers.

Registration
Registration fees:
- Before June 13, 2011, reduced registration fee: 175 €.
- After this date, regular registration fee: 225 €
- Student registration fee: 120€
Deadline for registration: June 20th.
Those registered as students must present proof upon arrival.
Payment of fees gives the right to: attendance to the seminar, coffee and lunch on the dates of July 11th and 12th, and seminar content (including ISBN of papers and posters presented, in electronic format).
To carry out any of the aforementioned administrative procedures, it is required that you register as a user in the entry system for proposals and registration.
Instructions for registering in the entry system for proposals and registration:
UEM faculty shall enter the system (UEM Center of Excellence for Research in Educational Innovation) with their usual username and password.
Professors who have attended previous editions of the Seminar may use the same username and password previously provided.
All other professors must register clicking on the link “comience ahora creando una cuenta” [create a new account] and following the instructions provided. You must supply the following information:
User name / Password / E-mail address / First name / Last name / City / Country
You will receive a message to your e-mail address confirming the creation of your account in the UEM Center of Excellence for Research in Educational Innovation in order to complete the process.
You must select the section Congresos [Conferences], and then VIII International Seminar on Innovation in Higher Education.
