"I have got to know people from many different places during my years here, especially from Mexico and Britain"
A student in the triple degree program of Journalism + Media Studies and Multimedia + Advertising Communication (with a bilingual option) who took part in UEM’s Communication Week ‘09 (April 20 – 24, 2009) as Community Manager.
Daniel defines his Community Manager work as being that of a 2.0 journalist.
“My job as Community Manager consisted of uploading videos and photos, covering all types of events, writing a blog, posting to Twitter, Tuenti, Facebook and reporting on and promoting Communication Week.
My relationships with people at the University have been positive, the professors have treated me well and helped me a lot and I have been able to work closely with them, something that I really appreciate. What’s more, I have had a good time covering events.
Studying at Universidad Europea de Madrid is a good experience in general. Sometimes it is somewhat stressful because there is so much to do and I have to turn in a lot of assignments. We don’t learn that much about theory because we are more focused on professions. I have got to know people from many different places during my years here, especially from Mexico and Britain.”
