Commencement Ceremonies
Dates
Commencement ceremonies will be held on three different days, depending on the School. These are the scheduled dates.
Friday, June 17. 9:30 p.m.: Undergraduates. School of Architecture, School of Engineering and School of Sports Science.
Saturday, June 18. 9:30 p.m.: Undergraduates. School of Social Sciences, School of Health Sciences, School of Biomedical Sciences, and School of Arts and Communication.
Monday, June 20. 9:30 p.m.: Graduates. IEDE Business School, Proy3cta School of Building Construction, Architecture and Engineering, and Graduates from Universidad Europea de Madrid.
Additional information
- For reasons of safety and seating capacity, each student may be accompanied by no more than 2 guests. There will be a number of additional invitations available to students, which will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis. The procedure for requesting additional invitations will be detailed in an email to be sent by the University at the beginning of May.
- The email will include details regarding the delivery of invitations as well as a telephone number and email address for assistance with any questions or doubts you may have. The same email will also include a formal invitation for students, who must confirm whether they will attend the commencement ceremony.
- Recommended attire: that which is appropriate for an event of an academic and celebratory nature. A reception will be held following each commencement ceremony.
- As information on commencement ceremonies will be updated continuously, we ask that students regularly check this website and their University e-mail address. Among other matters, information will be given on how students who have not fulfilled all of their academic credits may apply for permission to graduate with their classmates.
