UEM creates the "Manuel Campo Vidal" Chair of Professional and Business Communication

Águeda Benito, Rector of Universidad Europea de Madrid, today signed an agreement that will lead to the creation of the ‘Manuel Campo Vidal’ Chair of Professional and Business Communication at the UEM School of Business and Law.
Headed by journalist Manuel Campo Vidal, this university vocational education and training course is intended to contribute towards the development and consolidation of training related to the field of communication skills applied to business and professional activity. The course design is the result of research, analysis, teaching and reflection.
The Chair will strengthen ties between the professional and academic arenas by undertaking research to identify needs in the labor sector within the area of study and to offer solutions from a university perspective.
Research projects, conferences, open days, seminars, publications and awards to students, teachers and young researchers; these are just some of the activities that will be developed within the framework of the ‘Manuel Campo Vidal’ Chair of Professional and Business Communication. Manuel Campo Vidal is a journalist and television presenter. He also has a PhD in Applied Sociology and Industrial Technical Engineering. He has worked for the major Spanish television broadcasters and has received a variety of awards in recognition of his professional career. He has been the President of the Spanish National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences since 2006, he runs the Instituto de Comunicación Empresarial (ICE) and collaborates on various training projects related to communication issues.
