School of Health Sciences

The first edition of the course; Nutrition for Physical Therapy has concluded. The course, offered under the aegis of the Aula Europea de Fisioterapia, was a success. We’re already looking forward to the second edition!

On the November 28th and 29th, Universidad Europea de Madrid hosted the first edition of the course; Nutrition for Physical Therapy. There was a significant turnout of students and the event was deemed a resounding success.

Over this past decade physical therapists have had to field quite a large number of stress-related consultations, with the causes for that stress varied and different for each individual. Therefore, one of the main objectives of modern physical therapy must be the reduction of stress levels in society at large.

From the perspective of Orthomolecular Nutrition, a deficit of certain substances in the human body can lead to stress on the organism, ultimately leading to negative consequences as a result of that stress.

This course bases its program on analysis, prevention, and renewal in maintaining human homeostasis.

This type of therapy constitutes a new tool for physical therapists in their search for treatments that are becoming more and more holistic and individualized.
