Online Matriculation FAQs

Classes get under way on 10 September, and before that you must have matriculated by Internet.

Who can matriculate by Internet?

All students who have carried out studies in the university during the previous academic year. For that purpose, they will previously have to have their academic record number and their password.

When do I have to matriculate by Internet?

The following periods are applicable for Internet matriculations:

  • Students who pass all subjects in the ordinary exam session: from 9:00 a.m. on 24 June to 9 July.
  • Students in later years with subjects pending for the extraordinary exams session: from the time all your grades published in your record appear until 9 September.

Do I need an envelope to matriculate?

No, you don’t need an envelope to matriculate by Internet.

Once I have matriculated by Internet, what do I have to do next?

Your matriculation by Internet is validated within 24 hours, and you are then considered to be formally matriculated. Students must verify their matriculation to check that the matriculation is final. You will also receive an e-mail confirming your matriculation.

Should I print the matriculation slip?

Yes, because this is proof of your matriculation. Your timetables will also be printed.

Where can I get all the information I need about my syllabus and subjects?

Can I have overlapping hours?

The Internet matriculation program provides you with a list of all the overlapping class times which occur, including the subject code, name, group, semester, day, time.
When your matriculation by Internet is accepted, a matching class times application will be generated which we shall directly handle in order for it to be authorised (if said authorisation is applicable). If it is not possible, there will be a modification in the matriculation, which we shall inform you of by e-mail.

How long do I have to matriculate by Internet?

You have one and a half hours to complete the entire Internet matriculation process.

Why do previous years' subjects appear as automatically selected?

If you see subjects from previous years, they might be pending or you might not have matriculated them previously. These are the subjects which you must matriculate first of all.

What happens if I have pre-requisites?

First of all, check in your syllabus if the subjects you are going to matriculate have pre-requisites. When your Internet matriculation is formalised, the form is automatically generated with all your applications. From the matriculation, we handle this form directly in order for it to be authorised. If rejected, we will send you an e-mail, as this will imply a modification of your matriculation. In any event, any changes will be recorded in your academic record by Internet.

By consulting your academic record over the Internet, you can confirm that your matriculation has been formalised.
