  • Student Profile

    The Master’s Degree in Advanced Oral Implantology is geared towards university degree holders with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry as well as stomatologists who are planning on carrying out holistic implantology treatment through the study of the initial models to the final occlusal fitting of the prosthesis in the mouth.

  • Duration

    September to July .

    This Master’s Degree has a duration of 90 ECTS credits (two academic years).
  • Schedule

    First Year:

    • Four weekly clinical practice sessions with patients, either in the mornings or afternoons, at the Universidad Europea de Madrid Dental Clinic.
    • Clinical rotations at centers with agreements with the University (CIRO Clinic, INESDENT, Clínica I2).
    • Two clinical practicums of a total of two weeks at New York University (NYU).
    • Theoretical class modules at La Moraleja Campus.

    Second Year:

    • Four clinical practice sessions with patients, taking place from Monday to Friday at the Universidad Europea de Madrid Dental Clinic.
  • Metodology

    • Presentations given by professors, lecture classes and seminars.
    • Use of the case-study method applying practical examples and real life situations that are discussed in interactive sessions.
    • Group-based learning using working teams made up of students involved in different role-plays.
    • An internship in a pharmacy during which the student, under the supervision of their advisor, will put into practice the knowledge acquired, confirming the viability of their actions and procedures in a real-life setting. The internship report will be assessed and presented to the advisor and the student group involved in the program.
    • Preparation of the Master’s Thesis, during which students must prepare a project related to the content of the Master’s Degree, explaining each issue, presenting arguments, and defending the Thesis before a panel, after which the panel will award the student with their final grade.
