From the start of the program, students will treat patients gaining practice in pre-surgical, surgical and post-surgical tests under the supervision of a professor, as well as carry out future prostheses both in the laboratory and in the mouths of patients.
Upon completion of the Master’s Degree, students will be able to find the best final solution to operational and aesthetic rehabilitation by using advanced surgical techniques (sinus elevation, bone grafts …), laboratory techniques and prosthetic techniques, which comprise the great majority of situations that arise during treatments.
During the first year, students of this Master’s Degree will spend two weeks at New York University (NYU), USA. The agreement that is in place consists of clinical practicums where the students will attend clinics and classes taught by the faculty of the Department of Periodontics and Implants at that university.
Students will also attend relevant conferences related to dental implantology and participate with poster sessions and presentations. These conferences are announced by the faculty at the start of the academic year.
In addition, a schedule of rotations will be made available to students by highly-regarded clinics in this field, thanks to agreements signed with Universidad Europea de Madrid.
