The Master’s Degree in Advanced Oral Implantology at the School of Biomedical Sciences comprises the following areas of learning:

MODULE I: Comprehensive Diagnosis, Pathology and Dental Therapeutics for Children. (6 ECTS credits)

MODULE II: Management of the Medically Compromised Child, Behavior and Emergency Situations. (6 ECTS credits)

MODULE III: Comprehensive Diagnosis in Dentistry.(12 ECTS credits)

MODULE IV: Clinical Practicum. (36 ECTS credits)

MODULE V: Seminars, Clinical and Bibliographic Sessions. (6 ECTS credits)

MODULE VI: Research Methods. (12 ECTS credits)

MODULE VII: Master’s Thesis. (12 ECTS credits)
The hands-on focus of this Master’s Degree includes the clinical dental care of children who suffer from a variety of pathologies. Students will carry out comprehensive corresponding treatments under the supervision of professors. This program has a total of 800 hours of clinical activity.
Within the hands-on part of the program, comprehensive treatments under general anesthetics will be established in collaboration with hospitals.
