The Master's Degree in Optometry and Clinical Research (MSc in Clinical Optometry) is endorsed by the Bachelor of Science in Optometry/Master of Science in Clinical Optometry programs at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and are currently taught in several countries in Europe and Asia. It offers optometrists active theory-based and hands-on training at an advanced level, which places the optometrist in a unique position of being able to deal professionally with today's health care demands, hence expanding their career prospects.
This Master’s degree brings students into closer contact with current educational models and the practice of optometry in English-speaking countries with international recognition as pioneers and leaders in this field, with the longest clinical track record in the discipline. With the aim of focusing on the areas of eye care, low vision, contact lenses and binocular vision, optometrists will attend seminars and perform clinical rotations, which through a monographic approach enable them to acquire specialized knowledge in order to pursue careers in the field of clinical optometry.
